Theater 1 is expected to gain an overall view of the world of theater!
Theater 2 is expected to grow as artists and creative students.
Theater 3 and 4 (Advanced Theater) is expected to be mature artists who can produce positive and valuable theater.
Tech Theatre 1, 2 and 3: The class is expected to learn about the ins and outs of production and all aspects of behind the scenes.
There is not alot of homework assignments other than independant study.

Auditions for the Fall Plays will be on Sept. 13-16.
This is for the One Act Plays and the full length plays.
You will need a memorized monologue and to sign up for an audition time.
See call board in PAC for details. It is located backstage between the backstage door and the dance studio door.
All plays are performed at the Anderson Performing Arts Center beside the gym on West Forsyth High's campus.
Our 2016-17 Season is based on County and Southern Culture, "Southern Hospitality"
Our fall one act plays are:
Silent War - a play based on stories of the underground railroad before the civil war.
Antigone 1865 - a play that takes place right after the civil war. It takes the Greek classic, ANTIGONE, and places it in the conflict between the North and the South.
There will also be a presentation from the Advanced theatre classes.
The performance dates are October 20 and 21, 6:00. Tickets are $5.
Full Length Fall Play:

December 1-3. 7:00. $5.

Annie Get Your Gun
The story of Annie Oakley's rise to fame.
Auditions: Dec. 7-9. You will need a song and monologue. See call board for details.
