  • Atkins High School will be hosting a Middle School STEM Exploration Camp from July 11th to July 21st (Monday to Thursday both weeks) this summer.

The Middle School STEM Exploration Camp is only for rising eighth grade (current 7th grade) students who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

Each day activities will begin at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. The total cost for the camp is $160 per camper.

Activities during the two weeks will most likely include building and launching water bottle rockets, creating computer animations, creating simple computer games, performing biotechnology labs, chemical lab demonstrations, VEX robotics activities, field trips to local STEM businesses, and more.

Students are expected to bring their own lunch, but a small snack will be provided in the afternoon.

The above information can be found at the link below as well as the link to register for the camp. Once again, the cost for the two weeks is $160.

Please encourage your current 7th graders that are interested in STEM fields to tell their parents about this camp and register for this opportunity.
