About Me:  I am excited to return to the Hanes staff for my eighth year in education.  Last year was my first at Hanes.  For the previous five years, I taught at the high school level (East Forsyth) at all grade levels (9-12).  While at East I had the opportunity to teach World History, Civics and Economics and AP Geography.  Before relocating to NC in 2006, I served as lead social studies teacher in a small district in Missouri (Sweet Springs R-VII) teaching grades 8-10.

 

I received a Bachelor's degree in 2004 in both History and Secondary Education from Missouri Valley College -- a small private institution in Marshall, MO.  I am currently working toward my Master's Degree (Education Administration) through Western Carolina.  My wife, Adrianne, and I have been married for six-years and currently reside in Winston-Salem.  Our only child (currently) is a very active dog, Chalemagne (Charlie).
