WELCOME!
I am so excited to have your child in my class! This will be my second year at Old Richmond and my first year teaching second grade (after three wonderful years in fourth grade). I am ready to see how much fun we can have!
This is my fourth year teaching. I graduated from Salem College in 2009 with my B.A. in Elementary Education and Spanish. While at Salem I spent many hours completing observations at schools in Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas. I student taught fourth grade at Jefferson Elementary in 2008.
I am from Stokes County, North Carolina. My parents still live there and my brother, Jonathan, is in the United States Navy. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading and watching football games ( especially Wake Forest - Go Deacs!!!).
