Welcome to Mineral Springs Media Center! The center is shared by the elementary and the middle schools. Julia Bitting is the media coordinator for the elementary school Andrea Wooten is the media assistant.
The doors are opened to staff members for both schools before and after school hours (7:00 AM-4:00 PM) and during the day; operating hours for students are during the school day 7:45 AM-3:45 PM.
Students are allowed to check out books throughout the day during both scheduled and nonscheduled times. Parents are encoured to visit the center and also to check out books. Computers are available for students to search the Destiny catalog, to take AR tests and to research websites for Renzulli presentations.
Fifth graders are involved with their Renzulli presentations this fall. The school-wide science fair will be held in December.
