 Throughout the year I will be creating voice threads and picture videos of activities with the students.  I will send out updates in the weekly newsletter.  All work will be posted on this site.
 
 

 

 

BLOGS WIKI BLOGS   WIKI BLOGS WIKI

What does it all mean?  I am excited to experience blogging with my students and wiki with parents. 

Blog:  Students are getting online in the classroom and answering questions and completing assignments on the classroom blog site.  This allows for us to work on writing skills and learn computer skills at the same time.  Students can finish their work at home or in the class.

Wiki: This can be used for many purposes but for my class we will use it as a checklist for parents.  When we are having a class project or event, parents will easily be able to check the wiki site to see what we need for donations.  If you see something that you would like to donate, mark it off the checklist (edit the page) and send the item in with your child.  This will help you see what the class really needs and prevent too many donations of one item when others are needed.  I really hope you use this site. If something does not seem clear or could make it look easier to understand, please let me know so I can make it better!

Hello students and parents/guardians, My name is Theresa Tall and this is my sixth year teaching at Piney Grove. My family and I are Louisiana natives and moved here in June of 2007.  I have two daughters, 14 and 21.  I enjoy working in my garden and have recently completed motorcycle classes to ride with my husband.   I look forward to spending time with and teaching your child this year.  Please e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns through out the year.
