All About Your Teacher

I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have a K-6 degree in Education, a Master's Degree (Elementary and Intermediate Education) for grades K-6, and an Academically Gifted certification for grades K-12. In addition, I have my National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist (grades 2-7). I am married and have two children. We have a dwarf Netherland bunny named Nibbles, two Golden Retrievers  named Murphy and Mia, and are presently looking for a new kitten to add to our family. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading,watching movies, cross stitching, playing the piano,playing spades, and pinterest.
