Welcome to Mrs. Kim's Class where our JOURNEY begins....
I am the new MAP teacher here at Meadowlark. My assistants are Ms. Erica, Mrs. Sigley, and Mrs. Lisa. We have a lot of fun and exciting things planned this year as we journey deeper into the core of the new curriculum and learn more about each other. We are located in the mini POD in rooms 2 and 3. This is my first year at Meadowlark Elementary, 2nd year in Winston-Salem Forsyth County schools, and my ninth school year teaching. I very excited to be here! I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2004 with a B. A. in Special Education. I am currently certified with my National Boards and I'm looking to further my education to receive a masters degree. I believe that education is one main reason people succeed in this world. Thus, I am very passionate and driven by learning and improving education for students. My goal is that my teaching will help improve and expand student's learning to become successful leaders towards their own future and to be successful adolescents in society.
