1.  Key Vocabulary words will be covered for many of the stories read in class; tests typically follow to increase knowledge of vocabulary for listening and speaking.  Also, Students need to be able to readily identify and apply Key Vocabulary to the stories we read and discuss in class.

 

2. Key Vocabulary covered thus far; Plot Line (Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, Resolution), Main Ideas, Supporting Details,  Dialogue (Internal and External), Characters (Round, Static, Flat), and Character Motives.  More Key Vocabulary to follow...

1.  Vocabulary tests on current readings in class will be given throughout the school months.

2.  Freak The Mighty novel study guide questions need to be completed on a daily basis.

3.  Worksheets and Homework related to "Literary Terms and Analysis" need to be completed on a daily basis if applicable.

PE and Lock fees due as soon as possible.

 

"All About Me" worksheet completed with a photo attached and mounted on construction paper due TBA.

 

Reading Log signed by a parent daily.  Please make sure you are reading for 30 minutes each night.
