I hope all incoming Hanes students are busy reading books/newspapers/magazines! It is invaluable to maintain (or start!) good reading habits while on break from school. My students are expected to read at least twenty minutes every night in addition to homework and class assigned reading. Reading logs are to be maintained for every quarter and book reviews are a portion of each quarter's outside reading grade. Please make sure you are aware of required and/or suggested reading for this summer. Activities relating to these recommended books will be a part of our opening days of the school year.
