This year in Social Studies, we will focus on the history of the world from 1450 - present day. The major topics that we will cover include: Geography, Renaissance & Reformation, Age of Exploration, Enlightenment, Industrial Revolution, Imperialism, World War I - World War II, Cold War, and Modern Day History. Students will practice reading, writing, and critical thinking skills to better understand the modern world.
