Second Quarter, students will learn about the instrument families in the symphony orchestra. Students will also be given the opportunity to try out several instruments as we discuss them.  Students will also complete a daily listening log. 

Third and Fourth Quarter, students will learn about different musical genres and study their composers/artists. Students will also discuss music from around the world. We will visit other cultures and learn about their music.  A final project will be given in fourth quarter.  More information will be sent home at a later time.

NOTE: Daily listening logs, classwork, and quarterly tests will be given.
