Art for art's sake?  I should think so, and more so than ever at the present time.  It is the one orderly product which middling race has produced.  It is the cry of a thousand sentinels,
the echo from a thousand labyrinths, it is the lighthouse which cannot be hidden. . . it
is the best evidence we can have of our dignity."    E.M. Forster

Welcome Seniors!
I know that you are excited to be coming to the end of your high school career and to begin to turn your eyes towards your future.  The year has an extra challenge as you make college and career plans.  You will be busy and maybe sometimes overwhelmed with all of the expecatations placed on you this year.  My goal is to move you all in the right direction with a focus on critical thinking, communicating, and creativity.

This website is an important tool for all of us.  Check it frequently because sometimes plans change.  There is lots of information here which I think will be useful for you as you explore the human experience through literature.

Never hesitate to contact me with questions or ideas.  I am available for tutoring as well.  Just be sure to schedule your time with me so that I will be certain to be here.
