I am originally from Dallas, TX.  I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Elementary Education and Minor in Special Education.  In 2004, I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  In 2009 I completed my principal certification. 

This will be my eleventh year of teaching.  Each year has brought new joys and learning opportunities for myself.  In my teaching experience I have been fortunate to teach second, third, and fourth grades.  I hope to challenge each student everyday by incorporating technology, hands-on activities, small groups, and research.
