Parent Assist - If your child has a blank where a grade, there are a few things you should know.  First, that assignment is not counting against your child at that time, but it could later.  Second, there are a few possibilities as to why your child doesn't have a grade for that assignment, they are the following:

* Your child didn't turn it in at all

* Your child made-up the assignment and it has not yet been graded

* Your child turned it in without a name on it

* You are looking at the Parent Assist as grades are actually being updated

 

At the end of the quarter, any assignment that has a blank and has not been made-up or turned in, will be changed to a zero and will count against your child's average.
