Non-Teaching Positions - updated 5/17/2012 - pulled posting for Program Manager I - Social Studies for further revision
To apply for non-teaching positions, e-mail, fax or mail cover letter and resume to the HR contact listed with each job. Resume must be received before the closing date on position. WSFCS employees must also complete the appropriate In-Service Application.
Administrators: Please submit an on-line application for licensed positions. Also e-mail Dave Fairall and attach or embed a current resume and letter of interest. For information about qualifications to serve as a school or central office administrator, please visit this site.
Teachers: 1) Please submit an on-line application for licensed positions.
2) The next step is to pay a $10 application fee. The fee will help offset the cost of the StarTeacher PreScreener that we are requiring of all teacher applicants. We have established a PayPal account to accept payments. Please click here to pay the application fee via PayPal.
3) Once you have submitted the application fee via PayPal, you will need to set up a user name and password on the Star Teacher PreScreener site and request access from "Forsyth County Schools". After we review your application and verify payment of the application fee, we will issue you an access token via this web site that will allow you to take the on-line Star Teacher Pre-Screener.
School administrators will NOT be able to consider you for a position until you have completed all of these steps and Human Resources has released your application to principals for their consideration. Please have your transcript (official copy with a raised seal) available. Human Resources will need an official copy after you have been offered a position.

Teacher Assistants: To be considered for Teacher Assistant, Exceptional Children Assistant, One-on-One Assistant, or English as a Second Language (ESL) Assistant please submit a completed on-line classified application. Each school is responsible for the hiring of Teacher Assistants, please contact the school for information regarding their openings.
Clerical: To be considered for clerical positions please submit a completed on-line classified application. When you see a specific vacancy advertised for which you would like to be considered, submit a resume to the contact person for that position on or before the advertised closing date. Current employees of WS/FCS can download and print an In-Service Application here.
Bus Driver, Maintenance, Custodial, Child Nutrition, Groundskeeping: Please complete a classified application . Applications are available at the Administrative Center (475 Corporate Square Dr., Winston-Salem - map), or can be downloaded and printed here -- Classified Employment Application. Applications are kept in an active status for a period of 3 months. Current WS/FCS employees can download and print a classified In-Service Application here.
