My name is Cynthia Morgan and I have been involved in teaching in one form or another for most of my life. I majored in Business Administration at Lenoir-Rhyne College and then worked for Piedmont Airlines in the business offices until my three children were born. For a number of years I worked as a free-lance teacher and author (I have had a few magazine articles published - no great novel yet...) while raising my children. In 2004, I had the opportunity to join the Master Teacher Fellows program at Wake Forest University and I earned a Master's Degree in Education in 2005. I taught for several years at Forsyth Country Day School, where I taught Social Studies, Language Arts, Math, and Study Skills classes. I have been delighted to have the opportunity to work with Latin students at Hanes and worked to obtain my Latin teaching certification in the spring of 2012!
I enjoy many activities, including spending time with my family, hiking through the woods, sewing, knitting and reading. I like to garden and I love spending time with my beautiful Boxer, Ali, who enjoys hiking with me.
