SAVE THE DATES!
- Actor's Notebook - Every student has been given a Composition book which will become their Actor's Notebook. There should be a section for each character. Everyone is expected to write in this book and use the information they have gleaned from the text, in discussions in class. EVERYTHING YOU SAY MUST BE SUBSTANTIATED BY REFERENCE TO THE TEXT.
- Character Study - Once the cast has been announced, every student will concentrate on their character. This section of the notebook should reflect the questions they pose to themselves about the character and the answers they find, as they find them.
- Audition - We have had the first round of auditions and read the play in class. On Monday we have call backs. Everyone will chose a character, find a piece to use for audition and begin preparing it. Of course, I will explain my concept before we get started on this process.
- Expectation - This is very simple. I expect greatness in everything we present this year.
