2017-2018 Nominating Committee Slate for Elected Officers (to be voted on May 9, 2017)

In accordance with sections 6.2 and 8.3 of the North Carolina Local PTA & PTSA bylaws, the 2016-2017 Caleb’s Creek Elementary School (CCES) PTA Nominating Committee is pleased to share with you the candidates that have been slated for election by membership vote to serve as officers of the board for the 2017-2018 school year.

We were very fortunate to have multiple candidates interested in serving in each of the elected positions, which are President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  Each candidate completed a letter of interest and confirmed their acceptance of their nomination by Friday, April 28, 2017, and was interviewed by the Nominating Committee.  Each candidate was given an opportunity to share their reasons for applying, related experiences and ideas for their vision of the 2017-2018 CCES PTA

Amber McCuiston, our current CCES PTA Nominating Committee Chair, will present the slate of candidates below at our last general membership meeting of the 2016-2017 school year on Tuesday, May 9th.  During this meeting, the PTA membership will vote on the nominees presented by the committee as well as any nominations received from the floor during the meeting.  As a reminder, only individuals that have provided their consent to serve if elected may be nominated, and only current members in good standing of the CCES PTA are eligible to vote during this meeting.
