I am Kieran Brown, and I am looking forward to great year. There's some great technology and business opportunities to explore through the Principles of Business & Finance, Sports Marketing and MS Academy courses. No matter what career your go into you will manage money and practical financial training will be essential to being successful. The materials that we will cover in Principles of Business & Finance will benefit you throughout your life. I like to introduce some of Dave Ramsey's Principles and videos, The Stock Market Competition and Everfi to suppliment and demonstrate how these principles are used.
Likewise Microsoft applications are still the dominant software in the marketplace, so being Certified in the Microsoft applications will benefit you in applying to colleges and including on your resume for jobs.
Sports and entertainment marketing activities make up event marketing. The course title-Sports and Entertainment Marketing explicitly prepares students who desire to go into marketing and event planning relating to sports entertainment.
I am so glad to have you in my class. This begins my nineth year as a business teacher. You will be using the skills you learn in my classes as you continue through school and throughout your lives.
Information about me. I attended High Point University, and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. I received my first masters degree from Columbia International University and my second masters degree from NCA&T in Business Education. To add to my teaching credenitals, I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood/Career and Technical Education. I was teacher of the year in 2010.
I love playing tennis and riding my motorcycle on cool spring days. I'm active in my church. I have been married for 27 years and love spending time with my family and my new grandson, Connor.
In order to stay on top of technology and "hot topics" that interest high school students, I must stay in school...just like you! There is always something new to learn so be ready to learn from me because I know I will learn from you!
