 Educator Warehouse Pod

We are open for business!




The Educator Warehouse, a collaboration of Forsyth Education Partnership and Winston-Salem Forsyth County Council of PTAs, is a fabulous facility where teachers can “shop” among thousands of new and gently-used donated items for use in their classrooms. Donations come from local businesses, organizations, and individuals.   

Located in a pod behind Diggs-Latham Elementary School, the Educators’ Warehouse is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 5:30 PM on school days and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Teachers sign up online to visit the Warehouse on a specific day. All classroom teachers are allowed four visits per school-year (once per quarter) and can shop for a designated amount of supplies during each visit. Because we rely on donations, the inventory is always changing!  
 

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Donate!  The Educator Warehouse depends on the donations of supplies, funds, and time from our community.  For a list of suggested donations, visit the Donate page.  In addition to classroom supplies, we need funds to supplement the donated supplies and cover our nominal overhead expenses.  All donations are 100% tax-deductible.   Make checks payable to Forsyth Education Partnership  and mail to: Educator Warehouse,  PO Box 141 - Winston-Salem, NC 27102.


Volunteer!  The Educator Warehouse is currently a 100% volunteer operation.  To ensure that we are open on a regular basis, we need a dedicated volunteer force.  Whether you can commit to one day a week or just once a month, please consider volunteering some time with the Educator Warehouse.  When you see the smiles and gratitude on the faces of the teachers, you'll be glad you did!   For more information, go to the Volunteer page.
