A Wildcat Welcome from Ms. Rose.
This is my 4th year as a part of the Wildcat family. I taught Math and Science to 5th graders for 9 years in Texas as well as teaching EC elementary students before making Kernersville, NC my home. I have been working in WSFCS for the last 9 years where I have taught Math and Science to 6th graders, was Curriculum Coordinator in an elementary school and then was selected to participate in a full-time intensive administrative leadership academy where I received my Masters of Administration through UNCG. I was fortunate enough to have been placed at KES as a full time Principal Intern and I quickly realized that there was something special about KES and its community. I am now fortunate enough to be in my 3rd year as Assistant Principal and count it a blessing every day to be a part of such a caring school with dedicated staff, parents and community that are focused on creating an exceptional learning environment determined to make our children’s needs the top priority.
Family is very important to me as I try to make quality time to spend with my husband Steve, my daughter Andee, son Mike, his wife Alison and two beautiful granddaughters that have stolen their “BaNaNa’s” heart: Dulcie and Rowan (4 and 2). We try to make it back to Texas as often as possible where the rest of my family lives and to Hawaii to see Steve’s family.
My office door and a listening ear is always open
