Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!

The Hanes Parent Teacher Student Association warmly welcomes you to our school and invites you to become a part of our dynamic association.  PTA is the worlds largest organization working on behalf of children, youth and families.  And PTSAs are simply PTAs that have opened their membership to students as well as parents and teachers.

Everything we do -- from recruiting members and volunteers, to raising funds, to supporting clubs and activities at Hanes, to communicating with parents is all done with the following purposes in mind, to:

·        Enhance the student experience at Hanes

·        Support and encourage teaching excellence at Hanes

·        Support the NC PTA mission to be a powerful voice for all children

Every member of the Hanes community has a role to play in making our school the best it possibly can be, and helping every child reach his or her potential.  Please consider joining our PTSA, volunteering at the school, and getting involved in the education and wellness of our Hanes Dragons.  Check out the links on the left, to learn how you can help the PTSA achieve our goals and be part of the success story at Hanes.
