  • Student/Faculty Basketball Game

    Any student wanting to play in the Faculty/Student Basketball Game Friday during the Homecoming Pep Rally need to sign-up in room 422 (coach Goodson room) on October 23 to have your name entered into the drawing for team selection.

  • ASVAB Exam

    The ASVAB exam will be given on Thursday, November 6th at 9:00 in the media center. The ASVAB can be used as a military entrance exam but is also a great career skills and exploration tool. Students who would like to take the ASVAB may sign up in guidance or in JROTC classes by Monday, November 3rd.

  • Foods Club Prepares Chili

    The Atkins Foods Club will serve a bowl of homemade Chili with dessert and a drink after school Friday October 24, 2014 in room 403. Buy your advanced ticket Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during lunch in the cafeteria for only $5.00. You must buy your ticket before Friday!!! No tickets will be sold on Friday.

  • Have an idea for an App?

    Anyone have a great idea for an app? Basically you need a great idea, a 3-5 minutes video showing off your idea, and an essay. No app building experience necessary. If you do so please see Mr. Pantano Room 329. Winning team gets a new android tablet for each member, $20,000 for the school and TSA, private tutoring from MIT professionals on how to make your app reality, and an all expense paid trip to TSA nationals.

  • Boys Cross Country News

    Atkins came in third in the cross country conference meet October 16. The following boys will represent Atkins at regionals: Jeremy Kankula, Chris Hall, Luke Leahy-Higgins, Bryson Whitt, Josh Nofziger, Dylan Langham, and Tony Davis.

  • JROTC Raider Interest Meeting

    The Simon G. Atkins High School "Camel Battalion" will conduct a Raider Team Interest Meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 3:50pm to 5:00pm to form the 2014-2015 Raider Team and discuss upcoming Raider Competitions. All JROTC cadets interested in joining the Raider Team this year, must attend this meeting. Please be on time!
