Hemphill Named NCASA High School Student of the Year:

Meredith Hemphill, a junior at Atkins was named NCASA High School Student of the Year at the NCASA annual meeting. Read more about it here.

Senior Day and Senior Picnic:

Senior Class Day and Senior Picnic will be held on Friday, May 24th. The Class Day Ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM in the Auditorium. Following the Ceremony, seniors will ride the activity bus to the Senior Picnic. Students will return to school by 3:20 PM.

Parental Permission forms must be returned to Guidance by Friday, May 17th in order to attend the picnic.

Please come out and help us celebrate the many accomplishments of your Senior students!

Cheerleading Tryouts:

Note that information has changed about cheerleading tryouts. Practice sessions will be held May 20 - 22 from 4:45 - 5:45 in the small gym. Tryouts are May 24 from 4:00 - 5:15. Students should plan on being present for all practice sessions. All necessary forms may be found here. Note that students must have a current physical before attending practice sessions or tryouts. If students are getting a new physical, physical forms have changed since last year. The current form may be downloaded from the link above.
