For the third year we will participate in the Digital Flat Stanley project through MAGPI .  We have three classrooms (so far) participating in this project -- go 1st grade!  Ms. Hollifield , Ms. Kiser , and Ms. Tucker .

Each participating class is matched with another class around the U.S.  The students have adventures with their Flat Stanley during the time period and then had a "face to face" videoconference for the students to visit, talk, and share their adventures.  Next, Digital Flat Stanley moved (was mailed) to another classroom and the process repeated four times.  What fun!  If you come to school, check out the display areas outside the distance learning classroom.

Kyle Petty, NASCAR driver and founder of Victory Junction, visits Digital Flat Stanley at Rural Hall School.  Victory Junction is a camp for special children to explore and experience a week of camp fun.
