Early College Weather Policy Guidelines On days when WSFCS has a one or two hour delay and Forsyth Tech has regular schedule: follow the WSFCS policy unless your child has a college class earlier and the delay makes them late. Buses run on these days and times depend on delay. On days when WSFCS is closed, we look at what Forsyth Tech does. If Forsyth Tech is on a regular schedule, we ask all students to be here by 11:00 and to provide their own transportation. If their first Forsyth Tech class is earlier than 11, then they need to be here at that time. Buses do not run on these days. On days when WSFCS is closed, Forsyth Tech is on a 2 hour delay: students should be here by 11:00 and provide their own transportation. No buses are provided. A two hour delay for Forsyth Tech means 8:00 and 9:00 classes are cancelled, and regular day starts with 10:00 classes. So, if a student has a 10:00 college class they need to be here... On days when WSFCS is open but Forsyth Tech is closed: ECF is closed. On days when WSFCS is closed and Forsyth Tech is closed: No worries - everyone is cancelled! |
Early College of Forsyth offers a smaller learner-centered community that prepares students for a challenging program of study by developing academic rigor, providing relevant coursework, and building school and community relationships for students' success in the global economy. |
