Welcome to the 2011 - 2012 school year at Julian Gibson Elementary School. As you learn more about Gibson Elementary, I hope you will discover what we believe makes our school such a special place to be a student. Since 2001, Julian Gibson has modeled that students, staff, parents and community members can work cooperatively and successfully, together as a team. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the playground, our students work hard to meet the challenges placed before them. We strive daily to be a school with high expectations, coupled with never-ending gifts of care, concern, and patience. I hope that you will think of Julian Gibson as “your school” and want the best for all the children, just as I do.
