My name is Joann Via and I am the Curriculum Coordinator at East Forsyth High School. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Kennesaw State University in 1984. I received my Masters degree in Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1992.
As the curriculum coordinator, I direct the planning, development, field testing and evaluation of the curriculum. This includes overseeing assesments for both the state and local levels including End of Course Tests (EOCs) and the North Carolina Writing Test. In addition, I supervise the development of instructional practices for our staff and faculty.
