Name: Bob Vorbroker
Position: Assistant Principal
I am so happy to be the new Assistant Principal at Clemmons Elementary. Prior to coming to CES I was the Assistant Principal at Mocksville Elementary School in Davie County since 2009. Before that I was at Vienna Elementary School for 13 years. I taught fifth grade for 10 years and was the Technology Specialist for my first three years.
I haven't always been in Education. Before moving to North Carolina, I worked in Chicago for 15 years as a Networking Communications Consultant for several large corporations. During that time I had the opportunity to travel Europe, Asia, South America, and all over the United States working on computer networks.
My hometown is Detroit, MI. I received my undergrad degree at the University of Detroit. I got my teaching degree here in Winston-Salem at Salem College and my administration degree at Appalachian State University.
When I'm not at school I enjoy working on my big old house and trying to keep my yard in shape. I'm a technology geek, so I spend a lot of time on my "toys" such as my iPod, iPad, iPhone, and Mac (no, I don't own stock in Apple...).
I am looking forward to getting to know the CES community better. If I can be of any assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact me!
