Jobana Trujillo wins 12th Congressional District's annual art competition
Jobana Trujillo, a student of Mrs. Graves at Career Center, was chosen as the winner of the 12th Congressional District's annual art competition. Jobana won a scholarship, a round-trip ticket for two to Washington DC to attend a reception for winners from across the nation, $100 for art supplies, $100 for anything she wishes, and several other odds and ends from Charlotte area museums. Mrs. Graves and Jobana attended a very nice reception in Charlotte on Friday, May 4th when the winner and runners up were announced and honored by Congressman Watt.
