December 3, 2023
Good Evening to our Early College families,
This is Principal Jordan with announcements and brief reminders.
We want to remind parents of our school fundraiser with Choose Booster. The Choose Booster Parent Letter is posted on our school website for detailed information. The school fundraiser will continue through December 24, 2023. Your generous support of our school's fundraiser will help us to provide additional teaching resources for our students. Each year, we budget for curriculum, instructional resources, supplies, and more; in areas where the budget falls short, we rely on fundraisers to bridge the gap. By meeting our financial goal, we will continue to develop as individual learners and as a school community.
The HOSA-Future Health Professionals Chapter of ECF and MCF has put together a community service project in which they will be collecting used prescription glasses and/or used reading glasses to give to those in need. They are partnering with the Lions Club on this project. Donation boxes will be put around Ardmore and Snyder Buildings starting next week to collect glasses that people don't use anymore. This project will extend through March 1, 2024.
The brand new ECMC Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) has been hard at work in their first few months and we are excited to show our school spirit. The Tree Nation/Phoenix Spirit Store is now open! Hoodies, tees, totes, phone grips and more are now available. The store will be available all year long, but the deadline for ordering for delivery before winter break is December 12. A huge thank you goes to our community partner Winston Salem Spirit for their support. To order, simply scan the QR code on one of the flyers around the school, or find the link on the ECF/MCF website. Choose an item or 12, they make PERFECT holiday gifts! Students, be on the lookout for information on our Spring School Spirit T-shirt design contest. More information is coming soon!
Parents please refrain from picking up students in Lot B, Lot G, and in front of the Technology Building. All car riders should be picked up in Lot Q.
For any questions please give us a call at Early College 336-757-3290.
