• Dr. Green-Hughes

    Dr. Raphael Green-Hughes has served as a Teacher, Instructional Facilitator, Assistant Principal, and now as Principal of South Fork Elementary.  Although she has served in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School district in various capacities, all 23 years of service that she has worked in education have been spent working to positively impact the lives of all children.

    Dr. Green-Hughes is a wife and mother of six children.  She received a B. A.  from Salem College, an M.Ed. in Language and Literacy from Salem College, an M.Ed  in Leadership from High Point University, and an M.Div. and a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Church Leadership from Apex School of Theology.  Outside of education, Dr. Green-Hughes is a minister and community advocate.  She believes that every child has the right to a high-quality education and an educational environment that honors their diverse needs and equips them for success.
