Welcome to AFM!  We are looking forward to an exciting experience in assisting each of you in perfecting your Math III skills then launching you into higher level mathematical skills. In this course, students will shift into a higher gear with a presentation of recursive defined functions and how they lead into modeling growth and decay situations. A good introduction to the study Statistics will take place in chapter 2. Algebraic topics involving Linear, Quadratic, Polynomial, Power, Exponential, Logarithmic, and Rational Functions along with Sequences & Series will be explored. The main emphasis throughout this course will be that of problem-solving in conjunction with the use of the graphics calculator. This course provides the following assessments: quizzes, chapter tests, formative assessments, Mid-Term Exam, and a Final Exam.
