Career and Technical Education

CTE
  • Career Development Coordinators are funded through Career and Technical Education (CTE).  It makes sense really.  CTE aims to provide students with curriculum that is aligned to post-graduation goals and the Career Development Coordinator is also working to help students plan for what comes next.  The mission of CTE is to empower students to be successful citizens, workers, and leaders in a global economy. CTE programs are designed to contribute to the broad educational achievement of students, including basic skills.  These programs also focus on students ability to work independently and as part of a team, think creatively and solve problems, and utilize technolgy in thinking and problem-solving.
