Hi! Welcome to my web page.  My name is Melissa Simmons, EC co-math teacher, and as a first year teacher I am excited to be at Clemmons Middle School.  I am a 2014 graduate of Salem College, with a degree in Special Education.  I am co-teaching with two awesome 7th grade math teachers, Ms. Ananson and Ms. Hendrix. I am also teaching Math Study Skills where I help students find new and exciting ways to excel in their regular math class.

I am a resident of Lewisville, where I live with my husband (Keith), and two sons (Seth and Thomas).  My son Seth recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Japaneese.  He is a Japaneese translator with plans to move to Japan in the near future.  My son Thomas goes to Appalachian State University where he is majoring in Accounting.

We are having a great year so far.  The students are working hard and having a little fun along the way.  If you ever have any questions, concerns, or comments, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.  I love getting to know my students and their families.
