Lunch and Learns are events that allow students to learn about specific topics of interest.  

When: Monthly - Students who have 1st or 2nd lunch will attend from 12:00 - 1:00 and students who have 3rd or 4th lunch will attend from 1:05 - 2:05.

Where: Media Center

What: Topics will include Women in STEM, Automotive Technology, Degrees 101, and more!

How: Because of limited seating in the media center, RSVP for Lunch and Learns are required.  To RSVP for an event, email Mrs. Fulcher at ktfulcher@wsfcs.k12.nc.us

Lunch and Learn events provide students with the opportunity to hear from industry professionals.  These events will be advertised via this website, on Twitter, through school announcements, and with flyers.  

Bring your own lunch . . . Dessert provided!

Upcoming events:

November 24, 2015 - An introduction to Career Development Services.  This session is only available to Juniors and Seniors who take their English class at the Career Center.  All other students will recieve the information in one of their classes this year.

December 17, 2015 - Careers in the Automotive Industry:  A representative of Nashville Auto Diesel College at Lincoln Technical College will be here to speak ton interested students.  Bring your own lunch and dessert will be provided. 

January 21, 2016 - POSTPONED UNTIL FEBRUARY

February 25, 2016 - WOMEN IN STEM - A panel of women who work in a variety of STEM careers will be here to share their expertise. Bring your own lunch and dessert will be provided.
