Rebecca Role - Head Girl's Basketball Coach
Coach Role is the mother of four daughters and one son. Born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, she started playing basketball in the 3rd grade. Her high school team competed for the 4-A State Championship during her senior year. Upon graduation and after declining a partial scholarship, Coach Role enter the United States Air Force. In the Air Force, she played for the Chanute Air Force Base team. After six years of service, she left the service to pursue motherhood. After moving to North Carolina, Coach Role went to work for NACCO Windshield. In 2007, she became the owner and continues to run the business with the help of her brother.
In 2008, Coach Role began volunteering for the Our Lady of Mercy Middle School 7th and 8th grade team where she coached as an assistant for two years. Then she took on the entire girls program, grades 4-8. Before arriving at Parkland High School, Coach Role took the 4th through 6th grade team to the conference title.
In 2012, Coach Role completed her life goal of a college degree. She graduated from UNC Greensboro with a Bachelors degree in Accounting.

Coach Harper is the mother of three, two girls and one son. The two oldest children graduated from Parkland High School. Coach Harper works for WSFCS in EC services (Transition Team).
Coach Harper started playing basketball in the fifth grade and continued through high school. All three years of high school she made the all-conference and all-county team. In college, Coach Harper played basketball but focused on her education. She majored in history. After college, she played a couple summers overseas. In 2012, she graduated with another degree and still continues her educational journey.
In 2003, she became a middle school coach and continued through 2004. After the middle school basketball season, she started coaching AAU division I and II (grades 4th - 5th and 6th - 8th). During that time, she won four first place National Championships and three second place titles. She has won numerous tournaments.
Coach Harper specializes in teaching fundamentals and shooting techniques. She has always had a well disciplined team.
