• About Me
    Mrs. Scott is a graduate of UNCG where she received a BA in Biology while concentrating in Secondary Education.  She has a passion for teaching youth  and inspiring them to become creative and critical thinkers as well as problem solvers.  Mrs. Scott is the Science Department Chair at Atkins.  Currently, she teaches Seminar Biology and Honors Biology; however, she has previous experience in teaching Chemistry, Global Science Issues, Earth/Environmental, Environmental Science, Physical Science, and Anatomy & Physiology.  She has been teaching at Atkins for twelve years. During the summer, she teaches at North Carolina State University as well as James Madison University.
    When away from work, Mrs. Scott enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.  Additionally, she teaches the 4 &5 year olds at her church in Clemmons, NC.  She loves staying up to date on the latest Science research and pedagogy to make the greatest impact on her students.
