My name is Anuradha Palit, and I am from India. I got my masters from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in physics. Then I came to Syracuse University in upstate New York to get a PhD is Biophysics. I moved to North Carolina as my husband got a job with UNCG, and taught there for three years. Since 1987 I have been teaching in high school. I have taught at Thomasville City Schools, Guilford County Schools and this is my first year at Winston Salem / Forsyth County. I am certified in Science and Math and really love teaching both the subjects. My hobbies include traveling, reading (member of two book clubs), doing stained glass, and learning cooking from different parts of the world.
