Our media center is a place where you can do research, get assistance from a librarian, use computers, work on projects, read, do homework, or just spend some down time between classes. We strive to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere--any time you have free time at the Career Center, you're welcome to spend it here!

    Resources
Our media center contains approximately 8000 print and AV volumes. We also offer access to numerous databases where you can find full-text magazine, journal, and newspaper articles, excerpts from reference books, videos, podcasts, maps, images, and more. Our databases are available at school or from home, but do require passwords. Students and teachers can access these databases through the media center's PowerSchool Learning page (see media staff to be added to the "class").

To search the library's catalog, use the Destiny Online Catalog icon on any school computer's home screen, or click here. See what's in our media center, or any media center in the district! Technology
The media center has 24 desktop computers that are available during the day. These computers have Microsoft Office, Google Applications, Office 365, and internet access. Several stations have JMP (for Statistics), and Adobe Creative Suite. Students can print from these computers--printouts are 10¢/page for b&w and 50¢/page for color. We also have 10 Chromebooks that can be used in the media center for internet access and word processing. Visitors can access our "Guest" wireless network on their personal devices.

    The Fab Lab
Fab Lab 1    Fab Lab 2
The Fab Lab (or Makerspace) can be used when classes need to design, lay out, assemble or fabricate items. It's a space for students to spread out, work in groups, use materials and technology, and store works-in-progress. It is equipped with technology, materials and schools useful for completing hands-on school projects, crafting, and technical fabrication. The Fab Lab is a work in progress--we're thinking about new tools and technologies all the time! You can also visit our Virtual MakerSpace for links to free online tools to help you create and edit--for acces, join our PowerSchool Learning page (see media center staff).
