Latin American Studies - HonorsThis course introduces students to the diverse history and culture of Latin America. The course focuses on the regional geography of Middle America and South America. As a regional study, there are many perspectives to examine. We will explore the physical geography, environment, history, population characteristics, social issues, economic development, current events, religion, literature, and art. Small groups will have an opportunity to research specific Latin American topics and share their findings with their peers.
