Kevin went to UNC-Asheville and after college was drafted in the 28th round by the Miami Marlins.  At UNC-Asheville, Kevin hit .290 for his career with 46 doubles, 23 triples, 27 home runs and 134 RBI's in 213 carrer games.  Kevin also stole 51 bases as a Bulldog.  Kevin made his major league debut on May 12, 2012 and stayed with the Marlins for 5 games before being recalled to the minors.  In the minors, Kevin played in 729 games and hit .237 with 109 doubles, 44 triples, 57 home runs and 247 RBI's while stealing 200 bases in 262 tries.

Ryan Dull (2008)

Ryan attended UNC-Asheville after graduating from East and pitched there for 4 years.  While at UNC-Asheville, Ryan was 16-26 with a 4.65 ERA.  Ryan struck out 238 batters in 323 innings pitched which is 2nd at UNC-Asheville.  Ryan was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 32nd round of the 2012 draft.  Ryan spent 3 years in the minors accumulating a 15-13 record with a 2.07 ERA in 153 games while throwing 209 innings and striking out 259 batters.  He accumulated 42 saves and was a Midwest League All-Star and Texas League All-Star as well as being named the Oakland A's Minor League closer of the year in 2013.  On September 1, 2015, Ryan made his major league debut striking out his first batter CJ Cron.  Ryan started his career throwing 11 scoreless outings and in 2016 made the opening day roster for the Oakland A's.  In 2016, Ryan set a Major League Record by stranding 36 consecutive inherited baserunners.  For his 2016 season, Ryan stranded 52 of 59 inherited runners.  He appeared in 70 games throwing 74.1 innings.  Ryan struck out 73 batters while only walking 15 and finished the year with a 2.42 ERA , 5-5 record with 3 saves and a 0.87 WHIP.
