Head Athletic Trainer
Eric Streich is entering his second year of serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Walkertown High School. He is employed through Wake Forest Baptist Health and is one of 21 certified athletic trainers that provide sports medicine services to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, Wilkes County Schools, Lexington High School, and some Guilford County Schools.
Eric earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnnesota, and earned his graduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While at UNCG, he had internships with the men's soccer team, Wake Forest University football team, a local high school, and a local orthopedic clinic. He is certified through the national Board of Certification and licensed through the state of North Carolina.
Originally from Minnesota, he relocated to North Carolina for graduate school. Since graduating, he has worked at a high school in Randolph County and an orthopedic clinic in Thomasville. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, playing with his dog Lily, going hiking with his fiancee, and trying to stay active!
