Appalachian State University ACES program came to visit Wiley!

We were very fortunate enough to be visited last week by a group of Appalachian State University Students who came to volunteer at Wiley for their Junior Service Day.  These students are members of ACES, or Appalachian Community of Education Scholars.  They are all working towards earning undergraduate degrees in Education.  

They were not afraid to jump in and help out where they were needed.  Students created word walls, gave feedback on student writing, and helped put up displays of student work.  We felt so lucky to have them!
