Seats will be available on the ground floor of the auditorium for parents and family. Ninth graders will remain in their homerooms for the duration of the presentation. Ninth graders with senior siblings should bring a note to their homeroom teacher excusing them from homeroom to attend the program.

CAP AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION: May 22nd, Homeroom. Caps and gowns will be distributed in HOMEROOM immediately after the Class Day presentation; Seniors should go back to their homerooms to pick up their caps and gowns. GRADUATION PRACTICE: June 7th, Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 11:00AM. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY! Because graduation practice is a school function, any student not following the Student Code of Conduct/Dress Code will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. RJ Reynolds High School will provide transportation to graduation practice for students with no other available transportation. Students should park in the Mountain Dew/Pepsi lots.

GRADUATION: June 8th, Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 5:00PM. ***In order to respect our graduates and their time, please refrain from shouting during/after a graduate’s name is called. Excessive noise slows down the ceremony and prevents graduates from attending their graduation parties/other events.*** Seniors are to report backstage by 4:00PM. No graduate will be added to the line-up after 4:15PM. Travel time(s) will be slower due to graduation traffic, please plan accordingly. General admission is at the main entrance only. Tickets are not required. RJ Reynolds High School will not provide transportation to graduation. Please encourage all attendees to help us maintain a dignified celebration.

ENTRANCE/PARKING: This year, students and parents will park in the Sierra Mist lot. Use Deacon Blvd. to enter the parking lot. If possible, use Silas Creek Parkway to University Parkway southbound. Once the parking lot is full, guests will be directed to park across the street in the football lots next to BB&T Field. There is a tunnel underneath Deacon Blvd. that guests can utilize to safely cross and not impede traffic on Deacon Blvd. Coliseum Staff and Law Enforcement will be in the parking lots to assist with traffic.
