Candace Pait Morales, MA, LAT, ATC a North Carolina Native, recently relocated from Indian Trail, North Carolina to Kernersville, North Carolina. She currently holds the Head Athletic Trainer position at Glenn High School in Kernersville thought Wake Forest Baptist Health, beginning December 2017. Prior to, she was the Associate Athletic Trainer at Livingstone College from August 2013 through December 2017. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification and Licensed through the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners. Candace is a part of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association, and North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association.
Candace earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in May of 2013. While obtaining her degree, Candace was responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for all sports she covered. During her undergraduate studies Candace worked with the UNCP football, wrestling, men and women’s basketball and soccer teams. She also spent a fall season at Lumberton High School in Lumberton, NC providing coverage for their football, men’s soccer and volleyball teams. She as well worked a spring season at St. Pauls High School in St. Pauls, NC providing coverage for their men and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, men and women’s track, and tennis teams.
Candace completed graduate school at Fresno Pacific University, Fresno California. She earned her Master of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training.
As the Head Athletic Trainer at Glenn High School, Candace is responsible for over 600 student athletes with 31 teams. At Livingstone College, Candace provided coverage for all of Livingstone College varsity athletic teams; while her primary independent sporting assignment is women’s basketball. She also was in charge of many administrative duties involving athletic training and athletics.
