Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools uses Blackboard's Mass Notification System as its platform for communication with staff, parents, students, and the community.

The system provides a way to manage and distribute our traditional notifications in alternate methods to improve our reach out to our community members.

By using the Blackboard Mass Notification system, we can now create one message and publish it everywhere to reach our parents, staff, and students in more ways than traditional outdated methods.  We now have the ability to write a message once, select preferred communication methods, and publish across our available channels—saving time, creating consistency, and building capacity.
