Fall Exam Schedule
Semester 1 exams will be given January 18 - 24, 2023. Please do not schedule doctor’s appointments, vacations, etc. during testing days. It is important that all students taking exams are present. Students are required to take all state exams in EOC and CTE courses. They may be eligible for exemptions in courses with teacher-made exams. Look at the link with more details about exam days.

The EFHS Key Club is hosting a food drive for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission. We're collecting NON PERISHIBLE food items. Donations can be dropped off in the barrels in the main office lobby, the barrel outside of room 1005, or directly to Mrs. Frederico or any Key Club member.
The East Forsyth High Band Boosters Holiday Store (partnered with Dewey’s Bakery) is NOW OPEN!
This holiday shopping season, you can put your dollars back into the local community and enjoy fresh baked North Carolina treats. Shop for holiday treats at the East Forsyth Band Boosters’ Dewey’s Bakery Fundraising Store at 1030-K South Main Street, Kernersville (near The Loop)! From Moravian Cookies and Sugar Cake to delicious Cheese Straws, you’re sure to find the perfect gift. Proceeds will go toward supporting all the instrumental music programs at East Forsyth High School.
The store opened last Saturday and will be open every day except Thanksgiving day until December 23rd. Regular Operating hours will be Monday – Saturday 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday 12 pm – 6 pm.

We are excited to announce that the biannual Fall Panorama Survey has opened and will run through November 6. Our school will continue to gather data on students and teachers/staff. This year's survey is shorter and students and teacher/staff participation in this survey is the best way to help the district make decisions using your input and feedback as the guide.

The ASVAB is a career assessment that is not just for military service but for all students to help discover a career path that matches a student's interests and skills. Students that have medications on campus in the front office must pick up their medications by Friday, June 9 by 4:00 pm. If students ride a bus, their parent or guardian must pick up the medication. Students who drive to school or carpool may take their medications. Any medications still on campus by June 23 will be disposed of per WSFCS rules.

We are excited to announce that the Fall Panorama survey has opened today and will run through November 15. Our school will continue to gather data on student, staff, and family well-being and experiences to gain a deeper understanding of each student’s needs.
Staff/Teachers will receive an email from Panorama with their unique survey or you can access directly at surveys.panoramaed.com/winstonsalem and use your staff ID number for the access code. Please hit the blue “Submit” button to enter the survey. If you do not hit this, your responses will not be saved.

The East Forsyth High Band Boosters Holiday Store (partnered with Dewey’s Bakery) is NOW OPEN!
This holiday shopping season, you can put your dollars back into the local community and enjoy fresh baked North Carolina treats. Shop for holiday treats at the East Forsyth Band Boosters’ Dewey’s Bakery Fundraising Store at 1030-K South Main Street, Kernersville (near The Loop)! From Moravian Cookies and Sugar Cake to delicious Cheese Straws, you’re sure to find the perfect gift. Proceeds will go toward supporting all the instrumental music programs at East Forsyth High School.
The store will open Saturday November 12th at 11 am and will be open every day except Thanksgiving day until December 24th. Regular Operating hours will be Monday – Saturday 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday 12 pm – 6 pm.
Any parents that are willing and able to volunteer at the shop please contact Donna Murphy dmmurphy@wsfcs.k12.nc.us to see how you can help make this fundraiser a success!
The OCS program is hosting a can food drive for the month of November and December. The drive starts 11-14 and students can drop items off in any of their classes.

Homelessness in our community is real. Please help HOSA support the local homeless shelters during our 6th annual sock drive. We are collecting socks for men, women, children and infants thru the month of November. They can be dropped off at the office, POD 21 & 25.

The ASVAB will be given on October 26th at 9am in the Media Center. Please sign up to take the ASVAB, the sign-up sheet is in Student Service. The ASVAB is a career assessment that is not only for military service and can help to discover a career path for all students. Taking the ASVAB does not require anyone to pursue military service.
