Ms. Carrie Scott
Hi my name is Carrie Scott and I currently serve three schools; Vienna Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, and Thomas Jefferson Middle. I earned my undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University with a double major in Elementary Education and Psychology in 1996. I earned my Specialist in School Psychology degree from Winthrop University in 1999. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and I have been working in WSFCS since 2014. Prior to that I worked in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Davie County Schools before taking some time off to stay home with my children.
I have three sons who keep me busy and entertained. I enjoy reading, cooking and exploring new places, but truthfully I spend a lot of time driving my boys all over the county to their various activities. On the weekends, you can often find me at a swim meet, on the sidelines of a soccer game, or on a Scout camp out.
I enjoy consulting and collaborating with parents, teachers, and school staff to help students maximize their potential both academically and emotionally. I love working one on one with students. The best way to contact me is through e-mail at ccscott@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.
