Dispose of expired, unneeded, or unwanted prescription pills properly and safely by bringing them to one of the above locations. Citizens should check with the Officer at the front desk for instructions on how to use the pill collection dropbox.

Proper and safe disposal of pills reduces the possibility of accidental or criminal use of prescription drugs. It is also a safer alternative to landfills and sewage which do not neutralize the medications and so do not protect against the contamination of public water supplies
